Andrew Sterret, Editor, published by The
Mathematical Association of America (ISBN 0-88385-704-9). This book
features a compilation of essays written by professionals whose education
or position has a mathematics component. Many answers to the question,
"Why study math?" can be found in this book. The book also
contains job-seeking helps. It can be ordered
